On January 17, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" and opened the "2025 Trade Union Tet Market".
In 2024, trade unions at all levels in the province will continue to innovate the content and methods of operation. In particular, focusing on the grassroots level, prioritizing the majority of available funding to take care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
In the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" 2025, Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation will present 400 gifts worth 800,000 VND to union members and workers.
Of which, there is 500,000 VND in cash from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and a gift worth 300,000 VND from the support fund of businesses.
10 union members were supported to build "Union Shelter" houses with a total value of 500 million VND.
The provincial trade union plans to prepare 50 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to give to union members and workers working on New Year's Eve.
At the beginning of the Lunar New Year, the provincial trade union will also visit and give gifts to union members and direct workers with 200 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND.
The program "Union Tet Market 2025" has 50 booths, selling essential goods, meeting the needs of union members and workers.
Participating units and businesses will reduce prices by at least 15% or more compared to the listed price on the product or the market price; give away 3,000 shopping vouchers with a total cost of 900 million VND; give away 200 zero-cost shopping vouchers with a value of 60 million VND; give away 1,200 vouchers for health check-ups, consultations, and free medicine distribution...
Mr. Le Van Thanh - Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation - said that taking care of the lives of union members and workers is always identified as one of the key tasks of trade unions at all levels.
In the coming time, the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to direct all levels of unions to continuously improve the quality of activities to take good care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
"Thereby, contributing to building sustainable development units, businesses and localities, contributing to the development of Dak Lak to become increasingly rich, civilized and imbued with identity" - Mr. Thanh said.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor supported 4 billion VND for localities to take care of union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the province.
The provincial trade union has allocated 7,211 Tet gifts (VND 500,000/gift) in cash to union members and workers.
The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also supported 2,060 union officials, union members, and workers in Dak Lak to shop online at the "2025 Trade Union Online Tet Market" program with an amount of more than 1 billion VND.
