On October 15, at the Dong Thap Trade Union Cultural House, the Provincial Federation of Labor held the opening round of the preliminary round of the 2024 Dong Thap Province "Talented and Charming Female Union Members" Contest. Attending were Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui, Chairwoman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, and representatives of departments and branches of Dong Thap Province.
Participating in this contest are 50 female union members working at agencies, units, and enterprises with trade unions in Dong Thap province. The contestants go through 2 rounds: Preliminary round and final round. In the preliminary round, each contestant must go through 2 competitions: Ao dai and office wear or uniform of the agency, unit, or enterprise.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - President of Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor - emphasized: The contest "Talented and charming female union members" in 2024 is a practical activity to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union, thereby honoring the beauty, charm and talent of female union members of Dong Thap Provincial Union in particular, Vietnamese women in general, is an opportunity for all levels of unions, union members and workers in the province to exchange, connect and share in union activities, contributing to the good performance of assigned tasks.
With careful preparation and efforts in the competitions, the contestants brought to the competition impressive performances, demonstrating the charm and talent of female union members as well as the characteristics of the agency, unit, and enterprise.
At the end of the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee selected 12 candidates with high scores to compete in the final round, which will be held on October 18, 2024, at the Dong Thap Trade Union Labor Culture House. In the final round, the candidates will compete in the following sections: Greeting, talent, knowledge and costume (optional costume and ao dai).
