On March 13, the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor announced that on the afternoon of March 12, the Provincial Federation of Labor, Phuong Chau Sa Dec Hospital and Dong Thap Radio and Television Station jointly launched the first "Happy Bus" Program in Dong Thap.
The program was attended by Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui, President of the Provincial Federation of Labor; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Le, Executive Director of Phuong Chau Sa Dec Hospital and representatives of Dong Thap Radio and Television Station.
In the program, the Provincial Federation of Labor and Phuong Chau Sa Dec Hospital and Dong Thap Radio and Television Station surveyed the residence of Ms. Nguyen Cao Thanh Ha, a union member of Hoa Binh Primary School, Tam Nong District, to take her to Phuong Chau Sa Dec Hospital for the first pregnancy check-up.
Here, Ms. Ha was periodically examined by doctors and nurses for pregnancy, tests and ultrasounds to screen for fetal abnormalities (4D HD live). Her medical examination journey was recorded and broadcast on THDT 1 and rebroadcast on the station's infrastructure.
It is known that Ms. Ha is 22 weeks pregnant, currently living at the official residence of Hoa Binh Primary School and has a medical condition during pregnancy.
Mobilized to share in her first visit and pregnancy check-up, Ms. Ha thanked the units for bringing a meaningful and practical program, supporting female union members and workers in difficult circumstances to have more confidence and motivation to welcome their children.
In 2025, the units will implement 24 "Happy Bus" programs. Female union members participating in the program are entitled to a full package of services from the time of receipt to the time of giving birth (no additional costs) at Phuong Chau Sa Dec Hospital.
