On the afternoon of October 1, at Hall 2.9 of Pleiku city, the National Assembly delegation of Gia Lai province had a thematic meeting with voters between National Assembly deputies and nearly 300 union officials, union members and workers of Gia Lai province.
This is a meeting with voters of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation before the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly.
Ms. Siu Huong - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Gia Lai province - informed the delegates about the expected content of the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly.
The session will open on October 21, 2024. At this session, the National Assembly will consider and pass 16 laws, 2 resolutions, give opinions on 12 draft laws; consider and decide on socio-economic issues, the State budget, supervision and other important issues.
At the conference, voters who are union officials, union members, and workers in the province had 20 questions with 48 contents, focusing on 3 groups of issues: Trade Union Law (amended); Employment Law (amended) and recommendations, proposals, thoughts and aspirations for policies as well as living and working situations.
The recommendations under the jurisdiction of Gia Lai province were basically thoroughly and appropriately answered by the agencies and units at the conference.
The recommendations under the Central Government's authority to resolve will be compiled by the Gia Lai Provincial National Assembly Delegation to reflect to the National Assembly, the Government and Central ministries, branches and sectors for consideration, resolution and response according to their authority.
At the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Chau Ngoc Tuan acknowledged and highly appreciated the important contributions of trade union organizations, trade union officials, union members and workers in the province in the past time.
With the spirit of "Innovation - Democracy - Solidarity - Development", the Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Gia Lai province believes and expects that the trade union work of Gia Lai province will continue to develop more strongly and comprehensively.
On this occasion, the National Assembly Delegation of Gia Lai province presented 20 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 20 million VND from the union's financial resources.
