Attending the program were Mr. Tran Van Minh - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, departments, branches and a large number of union members and workers in the area.
Speaking at the program, Chairman of the Ha Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Tran Van Minh affirmed that this is an annual activity with practical significance for the trade union organization.
"The program actively contributes to the implementation of social security. It shows timely concern and encouragement so that workers can enjoy Tet and welcome spring. At the same time, it spreads the message of solidarity and sharing with the spirit of not leaving anyone behind in the community and the whole society," Mr. Minh emphasized.
Currently, Ha Giang province has over 42,500 cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers. The provincial Labor Federation has 11 district and city labor federations, 3 industry unions, 1,276 grassroots unions, and nearly 37,000 union members. There are 26 unions in enterprises managed by the Central Industry Union, with over 3,000 union members.
In 2024, the Ha Giang Provincial Federation of Labor and grassroots unions have paid attention to and implemented many activities to support and care for workers' lives. The program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of Thanks to the Party" is an annual activity with practical significance on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
The program demonstrates the timely attention and encouragement of trade unions at all levels, helping union members and workers to celebrate Tet and enjoy a warm Spring. Contributing to strengthening the trust and connection between union members and the trade union organization. Creating motivation for workers to actively work in production, improve their lives, and complete their tasks well.
At the program, the Ha Giang Provincial Federation of Labor presented 12 "Union Shelters" and 100 Tet gifts worth nearly 800 million VND to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
