On the afternoon of October 9, the working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor led by Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Phan Van Anh inspected the Hung Yen Provincial Confederation of Labor to evaluate the results of 3 years of implementing Resolution No. 02-NQ/TW, dated June 12, 2021 of the Politburo on "Innovation of organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation" (Resolution 02); Resolution of the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union...
Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Ha - Member of the Presidium, Head of Labor Relations of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and representatives of departments under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor participated in the working delegation.
At the meeting, representatives of the Hung Yen Provincial Federation of Labor reported and clarified the results achieved.
Accordingly, on the basis of closely following the directives and instructions of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee, in the past 3 years, trade unions at all levels in the province have promoted the proactive, positive and creative role of trade union cadres at all levels in directing, deploying, organizing and effectively implementing emulation movements. Trade union activities have had many innovations, strongly oriented towards the grassroots, focusing more on propaganda and mobilization work to develop union members and establish grassroots trade unions.
The tasks of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of employees, and the work of negotiating and signing collective labor agreements have increasingly improved in quality and efficiency, contributing to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
The work of propagating and studying the directives, resolutions and regulations of the State and the Trade Union has been promoted in many diverse forms; focusing on the work of caring for union members and workers, making the workers' movement and the activities of the Trade Union of Hung Yen province constantly develop, contributing to affirming the position and role of the Trade Union organization, creating consensus among union members and workers, spreading the beautiful image of the Trade Union organization.
With the recommendations of the Hung Yen Provincial Federation of Labor, the working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor responded and clarified some contents at the working session; with contents beyond its authority, it will synthesize, discuss and propose to the functional units to find satisfactory solutions in the coming time.
In his concluding remarks at the meeting, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Phan Van Anh acknowledged the good and creative practices and highly appreciated the results of implementing Resolution 02 in Hung Yen province.
In particular, the provincial trade union has done a good job of taking care of union members and workers, diversifying forms of propaganda to raise awareness and political capacity, class awareness, national pride and self-respect of the Vietnamese working class, bringing the Party's guidelines, State laws and policies, and Trade Union Resolutions at all levels into life.
At the same time, the Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requested that all levels of Trade Unions in Hung Yen province continue to organize and implement Resolution 02 and breakthroughs in the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; focus on proposing solutions to do a good job of developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions, attracting more workers to join the Trade Union, contributing practically to building a modern and strong working class, and an increasingly strong Trade Union organization.
