The remote district's trade union enthusiastically competes in wrapping banh tet during Tet

Kien Giang – The teams went through 3 competitions: wrapping and cooking banh tet skillfully, presenting and decorating according to the Tet theme.

The U Minh Thuong District Labor Federation (Kien Giang) has just coordinated with the District Women's Union to organize the "Wrapping and Cooking Banh Tet" Contest for the 2025 Military-Civilian Tet.

The competition has 8 teams of union officials, union members, workers of the commune trade union and schools under the district labor federation; reserve force officers, soldiers, militia and self-defense forces working and living in hamlets in Thanh Yen commune, U Minh Thuong district.

Each team of 8 members participates in 3 competitions: wrapping and cooking cakes skillfully; presentation; decoration. The cakes are required to be beautiful, of good quality and food safety. The cake trays are decorated with typical Tet side dishes such as pickles, pickled onions, dried shrimp, Chinese sausage, braised pork... The fruit tray is displayed according to the theme of Tet, a warm relationship between the army and the people.

At the end of the competition, the first prize went to team number 5 (Ap Xeo Ke Team and Thanh Yen 2 Primary School Union, Xeo Ke location).

The district Labor Federation said that this contest not only aims to honor traditional cultural values ​​but also to create cohesion between the army and the people; union members and workers can exchange through activities, preserve and promote national cultural traditions during traditional holidays and Tet.
