On November 14, the Trade Union of the Branch of First Team Vietnam Garment Company Limited (Loc Son Industrial Park, Lam Dong Province) held a Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
The congress was attended by Mr. Doan Van Su - Vice President of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation; The company's Board of Directors and 80 delegates representing the will and aspirations of more than 1,300 union members and workers.
At the congress, delegates democratically discussed and evaluated the results of trade union activities for the 2023-2028 term and set out targets and tasks for the 2025-2030 term.
During the past term, the Trade Union of the First Team Vietnam Garment Company Limited Branch has always promoted democracy, built internal solidarity and successfully completed assigned tasks. The Trade Union has accompanied the Board of Directors to care for the lives of union members and workers through many practical policies such as supporting fuel and accommodation from 200,000 VND to 1.8 million VND/person/month; supporting vocational training of 400,000 VND/person/month; supporting raising young children of 50,000 VND/person/month.
The unit also implements many bonus policies to encourage employees, including: diligence bonus of 1 million VND/person/month; labor discipline bonus of 100,000 VND/person/month; performance bonus, holiday bonus...
Notably, the union has reviewed and proposed raising the salary level for 979 workers; at the same time, caring for and supporting workers when they are sick, pregnant, on vacation, encountering natural disasters, fires, accidents... with a total amount of over 1.6 billion VND.
At the same time, the union coordinated with the company to organize many activities to improve the spiritual life of union members and workers such as arts, physical education and sports, thematic activities, cooking competitions, flower arrangement competitions, Tet Sum Vay, Mid-Autumn Festival, etc.
In the new term, the unit sets a key goal of continuing to represent and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers; better taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members; and building a strong and comprehensive union organization.
The Congress also elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union consisting of 5 members. Ms. Tran Ngoc Nhu Quynh was re-elected as Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term.
