On November 12, the Trade Union of the Nuclear Research Institute under the Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor informed that the unit had just successfully organized the Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.
At the congress, the unit comprehensively assessed trade union activities for the 2023 - 2028 term and set out directions and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term. Currently, the institute has 10 departmental unions with 175 union members out of a total of 181 civil servants and employees.
The Union and the Board of Directors coordinate to care for, increase income and improve the material and spiritual life of union members. During the past term, 25 outstanding union members were introduced for the Party Committee to train and admit 11 people to the Party organization. At the same time, the trade union accompanies the Board of Directors to organize movements and activities to successfully complete professional tasks.
Notably, the Institute has safely and effectively operated the Da Lat nuclear reactor with a total operating time of an average of 4,000 hours/year. Union members and workers perform 8 ministerial-level scientific and technological tasks, 1 basic research task (Nafosted), 7 grassroots tasks, 2 Institute-level tasks and 4 environmental protection tasks.
During this period, the Institute announced 109 international scientific works, of which 84 were ISI works, 2 patents, 60 national scientific works, along with 36 international conference reports, 109 domestic conference reports and 7 initiatives were recognized and applied.
The unit also processed radioactive drugs and KITs according to GMP-WHO standards, providing them to 23 domestic facilities and hospitals for disease treatment. Thanks to that, the average revenue reached 53 billion VND/year, contributing to increasing the income of union members and workers.
Entering the 2025 - 2030 term, the grassroots trade union of the Institute of Nuclear Research has set out 10 groups of targets to strive for and 8 key tasks and solutions to build a strong trade union, better caring for union members and workers.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Trade Union for the 2025 - 2030 term, consisting of 9 members. Of which, there are 3 members of the Standing Committee.
Mr. Le Van Thuc was elected as Chairman of the Trade Union of the Institute for Nuclear Research for the 2025 - 2030 term.
