Lam Dong honors 50 outstanding grassroots union chairmen

Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor has just organized a ceremony to honor 50 outstanding and typical grassroots Trade Union Chairmen for the period 2021 - 2023.

The program was held on September 21, in Da Lat city. At this program, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - Mr. Hoang Lien - affirmed that in recent times, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Union has continuously innovated and improved its operational capacity.

Especially after 3 years of implementing the Central Resolution on "Innovation of organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation", Lam Dong Trade Union at all levels deserves to represent the voice, aspirations and beliefs of workers in the province.

Currently, the province has 1,541 grassroots trade unions, with more than 69,000 union members, out of a total of more than 72,000 workers and civil servants.

According to the Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor, the results achieved in trade union activities in recent times have had positive contributions from cadres, union members, workers, and civil servants, especially the role of the team of grassroots trade union chairmen.

“The Trade Unions at all levels have voted and proposed to commend 50 outstanding and exemplary grassroots Trade Union Chairmen. These are the most beautiful flowers from the emulation movement for innovation, creativity and efficiency in trade union activities,” Mr. Hoang Lien emphasized.

On this occasion, the Chairmen of the grassroots Trade Unions were awarded laurel wreaths and Certificates of Merit for outstanding performance in the 2021 - 2023 period by the Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor.
