On July 20, Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the unit had issued guidelines for organizing "Union Meals" at grassroots unions, taking place from July 20 to September 2, 2025.
The program aims to create space for union members, employers and trade unions to share and build harmonious labor relations.

Union Meal is deployed at units that are organizing mid-shift meals or daily lunches. For places where there is no mid-shift meal, if there is a consensus of the enterprise, the grassroots trade union can coordinate to organize at a suitable location.
Unlike the usual mid-shift meal, the union meal has a higher cost thanks to the union organization's maximum support of 50,000 VND/meal. The organization must ensure food safety and hygiene, without affecting production and business activities.

Mr. Ho Cong Duong - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor - emphasized that "Union Meal" is a practical activity that demonstrates the concern of the trade union organization in caring for the lives of union members.
This activity also aims to demonstrate the role of negotiating representatives with employers, concretizing the goal of improving the quality of shift meals.

On this occasion, grassroots trade unions will integrate propaganda to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, admit new union members, give birthday gifts and encourage union members in difficult circumstances.
The Provincial Federation of Labor plans to select a number of grassroots unions with many union members to directly participate with workers.
