On January 17, Vice President of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - Mr. Pham Van Duoc - said that the unit had just successfully organized the "Tet Meal Tray" Contest.
The contest was held at Lam Dong Provincial Labor Culture House (Da Lat city) with the participation of many union members and workers.
"This is an activity within the Program to celebrate the Party, celebrate Spring and "Tet Sum Vay" At Ty year 2025, organized by the trade union in coordination with the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Red Cross Society for union members and workers" - Mr. Pham Van Duoc said.
The "Tet Meal" contest gathered 11 teams from grassroots unions in Da Lat city and Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union, each team consisted of 5 members with culinary talent.
The teams brought traditional Tet meals. These included: Chung cake, pickled vegetables, white rice, braised meat and creative decorations such as cakes, flowers, calligraphy... evoking the unique culture of each region.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen - a union member of Me Linh Primary School - shared: "The contest is not only a fun playground but also helps us understand more about Vietnamese cuisine, improve our housekeeping skills and sense of sharing in the family. This is also an opportunity to spread the message about the role of men in organizing family life."
The meals were highly appreciated for their skillful preparation and decoration, fully expressing the traditional Vietnamese Tet flavor, while creating opportunities for exchange and learning between union members and workers.
The "Tet Meal" contest ended in the bustling atmosphere of the traditional Tet holiday with a cultural exchange program to celebrate the Party and Spring.
The Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes to the teams participating in this competition.
