At the gift-giving ceremony, the delegation presented 100 warm blankets, 400 kg of rice, 160 pillows, more than 2,400 notebooks and pens, 690 T-shirts and 5 scholarships to orphans studying at Na Loc Primary and Secondary School.
In addition, the delegation also presented 269 sets of clothes to Na Loc Kindergarten, along with 80 coats, warm blankets, and rice to disadvantaged households in Na Loc village.
At the same time, 260 coats and 200 boxes of clay were given to Thanh Binh Kindergarten, with a total program value of over 130 million VND.
According to the leader of the Muong Khuong District Labor Federation, although the gifts are not large, they have helped teachers and boarding students in the mountainous area have more motivation to improve the quality of teaching and learning in the particularly difficult locality.
With direct connections from philanthropists, the program has contributed to connecting a network of communities to support each other, joining hands to support and encourage people in the highlands.
This is one of the meaningful social charity activities demonstrating the social responsibility of trade unions, local authorities and philanthropists to help students have a warmer winter.
