The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation, leaders of Cam Duong, Coc San, Hop Thanh wards... creating a vibrant atmosphere.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Dang Nguyen Hoan - Chairman of Lao Cai Ward Trade Union - said that the tournament aims to create a healthy sports playground, encouraging the movement to exercise among cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers. This is also a practical activity to welcome the Provincial Party Congress and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
This year's tournament brings together about 150 athletes from grassroots unions and agencies and units in Lao Cai, Cam Duong, Bat Xat, Hop Thanh, and Coc San wards. The competition events include men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed-women's doubles, taking place in a spirit of exchange but no less fierce.
This sports activity contributes to improving spiritual life, enhancing physical strength and creating a cohesive environment among cadres, party members and workers.
The exciting matches also open up opportunities for exchanges and learning experiences between units, aiming to successfully complete professional tasks in the coming time.
The tournament is scheduled to take place on November 29 and 30, 2025.
