Implementing the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress at all levels
This is the year the trade union organizes activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union with the theme "Focusing on bringing the Resolution of the Trade Union Congresses at all levels into life; competing to achieve achievements to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union".
Immediately after the Trade Union Congress at all levels for the 2023-2028 term, the Nghe An Industry and Trade Trade Union organized a study and dissemination of the Resolution of the 4th Trade Union Congress for key trade union officials from the industry to the grassroots level, and issued propaganda documents about the 19th Congress of Nghe An Trade Union.
In 2024, the industry trade union innovated its leadership methods, focused on improving the quality of activities of grassroots trade unions, meeting the requirements of the Provincial Federation of Labor, contributing to the implementation of the political tasks of the industry and trade union organization.
The industry union also maintains good coordination with departments, branches, and organizations, especially in implementing democracy at the grassroots level, disseminating laws, disseminating knowledge about workers' rights, and building a cultural and healthy working environment.
In 2024, the Industry Union directed grassroots unions to coordinate with the government to organize conferences for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers, and at the same time develop and implement the Grassroots Democracy Regulations according to the Law on Democracy Implementation.
For the benefit of workers
Emulation movements in grassroots unions have been strengthened and developed strongly, attracting the participation of a large number of union members and workers, especially non-state enterprises.
Activities during Workers' Month have gone into depth, with practical programs, not only improving material life but also creating a friendly and united working environment.
The events celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam Trade Union and the 73rd anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnam Industry and Trade took place meaningfully and practically.
Summarizing the excellent labor movement, last year, 7 collectives and 28 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial Labor Federation and the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade.
The work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions has also been vigorously implemented by the Industry Union, with the establishment of 02 new grassroots unions at enterprises with 25 or more workers and the development of 132 union members.
In particular, the work of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights of workers is focused on by the Industry Union, ensuring timely support for workers in difficult circumstances.
The industry trade union has directed grassroots trade unions to participate with employers in developing labor regulations and democratic regulations at the workplace, reviewing and amending the contents of the Collective Labor Agreement, in order to protect the rights of workers and promote harmonious and stable labor relations.
In addition, the Industry Union coordinated with the Provincial Federation of Labor to organize the program "Tet Sum Vay, Xuan Chia Chia" in 2024, presenting 100 gifts to workers, civil servants, and laborers in difficult circumstances.
Cultural and sports activities are widely organized, bringing a warm and united atmosphere to workers.
With the achieved results, the Industry and Trade Union continues to implement the Resolution of the 19th Congress of Nghe An Trade Union and the Resolution of the Industry and Trade Union, Term IV, committed to improving the rights of union members and workers.
