On the morning of October 19, the Standing Committee of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Soc Trang province held a meeting to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union and the 14th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day October 20.
According to Mr. Ly Truong Khoa - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Soc Trang province, female union officials of the affiliated trade unions and the mass women's union committee of the trade unions always strive, are creative and complete their professional work well; constantly research, study, and improve their qualifications and skills. Up to now, 81% of female union members have registered for the title "Good at public affairs, good at housework".
From the beginning of 2024 to now, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union and its affiliated trade unions have organized many activities to take care of female union members and workers such as 8.3 meetings; men's and women's football tournaments; cooking contests; folk games; health check-ups... with over 10,700 female workers participating.
In addition, the Trade Union of Medirprotex Vina Co., Ltd. and Tuntex ST-VN Co., Ltd. organized a meeting with women and gave gifts on the occasion of March 8 with the participation of over 2,000 union members, integrating mid-shift meals at the enterprise to ensure nutrition and restore labor after a period of work, aiming at the emulation goal of the movement "Higher productivity, better quality" in the production and business sector of the non-state sector.
At the meeting, the female delegates were also shared by representatives of Phuong Chau International Hospital Soc Trang about the important role of early screening for cervical cancer in women. This topic helps women reduce health problems, improve work efficiency and have a happier life.
On this occasion, the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union, and the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board presented gifts and sent congratulations to female union members, union officials, and delegates attending the meeting.
