Attending the congress were Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairwoman of the Provincial Economic Zone Trade Union; Mr. Wang De Zhen - General Director of the company along with more than 80 delegates who are union members and workers.
At the congress, the provisional Executive Committee of the Louvre Textile Company Limited’s Trade Union reported on the recent trade union activities. Accordingly, the work of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers was demonstrated through practical activities, paying attention to the lives of union members and workers with an amount of nearly 500 million VND.
In addition, the Executive Board of the Louvre Textile Company's Trade Union has also participated in negotiating, developing, signing and implementing collective labor agreements, contributing to improving wages, salaries, bonuses and shift meals for workers.
The Executive Board and Board of Directors of the company also pay special attention to propaganda and education to improve political, cultural and legal levels, and to train skilled workers and professional expertise, helping to improve the qualifications of workers and basically meet the production and business requirements of the enterprise.
The Congress elected the first Executive Committee for the 2024-2028 term, consisting of 5 members, of which Ms. Truong Thi Bao Ngoc was elected to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Louvre Textile Company Limited.
Speaking at the congress, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, Chairwoman of the Provincial Economic Zone Trade Union, stated that the Executive Committee for the 2024-2028 term are excellent trade union officials trusted by a large number of union members and workers, who are enthusiastic, dedicated, and responsible.
Ms. Lien also believes that in the coming time, the Executive Board will continue to coordinate with the Company's Board of Directors to effectively represent, care for, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees; contributing to building an increasingly strong union organization, enhancing the position of union activities in the new situation.
