In Long Khanh commune, Ben Cau district, Tay Ninh province, the delegation organized the handover of a "Union Shelter" house to union member Le Thi Mong Dao, a union member of the Pou Li Vietnam Company Limited Trade Union (under the Economic Zone Trade Union).
Ms. Dao has been working at the company for 3 years. Considering her difficult housing situation, the company's Board of Directors decided to support her with 80 million VND from the fund for taking care of union members and workers so that she can rebuild her house, stabilize her life, and work at the company with peace of mind. It is known that the house has an area of 4m x 16m, built on her family's land.
On the same day, the delegation also visited and handed over the “Union Shelter” house to union member Nguyen Thi Diem in Hiep Thanh commune, Go Dau district. The house was built on the scale of a level 4 house, with a corrugated iron roof and brick floor, with an area of about 80 square meters and a construction cost of 100 million VND, of which the grassroots union mobilized 70 million VND in support, and family and relatives supported 30 million VND.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Diem has been working as a worker at Pou Li Vietnam Co., Ltd. for 13 years. She is the main breadwinner in her family, raising two children who are still in school. Her parents are old and unable to work. Her husband is a farmer with an unstable income.
At the ceremony, Mr. Trinh Van Phuoc also sent greetings and congratulations, hoping that after having a stable place to live, the union members will have more motivation to overcome difficulties, develop their family economy, and continue good production work.
The two union members who were given the new house also expressed their gratitude on behalf of their families to the company's Board of Directors, union leaders at all levels, and local authorities for always caring, supporting, encouraging, and creating favorable conditions for union members to work and complete their assigned tasks.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation, Economic Zone Trade Union, Board of Directors, and Executive Board of the Company's Trade Union also presented congratulatory gifts to union members.
