On January 8, at the program, the Thai Binh Education Trade Union presented 106 gifts worth nearly 85 million VND to union members, officials, teachers, and workers at affiliated trade unions; selected 73 union members, officials, teachers, and workers to participate in the program "Union Tet Market 2025" through the e-commerce trading floor deployed by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
On the same day, Thai Binh City Labor Federation organized a summary of union activities in 2024 and deployed tasks for activities in 2025.
In the past year, despite many difficulties, the City Labor Federation has closely followed the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, and the guiding documents of the Provincial Labor Federation and the City Party Committee to direct and guide grassroots unions to implement activities to meet the practical situation and production and business plans of the units, especially promoting activities to care for union members and workers.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024, the City Labor Federation organized the program "Tet sum vay - Xuan chia chia" to present 798 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances in units with a total amount of over 423 million VND; coordinated to give gifts to 30 workers in especially difficult circumstances; considered allocating 178 union members to participate in free shopping at the program "Trade Union Tet Market" launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
On the occasion of Workers' Month 2024, the City Labor Federation presented gifts to 46 workers who suffered from work-related accidents, occupational diseases, and long-term illnesses with a total amount of 23 million VND; honored 76 outstanding union officials and workers; organized 5 training courses for over 1,400 key union officials with practical content serving union activities and expertise...
To encourage children of workers and civil servants in difficult circumstances to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies, the City Labor Federation awarded 132 gifts to children who achieved excellent national and provincial level students and students who overcame difficulties to excel in their studies, with a total amount of over 62 million VND. The Trade Unions organized meetings and presented gifts to 5,750 children of union members and workers with outstanding academic achievements, with a total amount of 981 million VND...
In addition, the city's trade union has actively mobilized union members and employees to support the construction of the "Union Shelter" fund with a total contribution of over 124 million VND. The organization awarded funding to build houses for 5 union members with difficult housing circumstances with an amount of 250 million VND.
With outstanding results in trade union activities, Thai Binh City Labor Federation has received the excellent leading flag of the district and city block, many collectives and individuals have received emulation flags and certificates of merit from the government and trade union organizations.
