On October 16, the Vu Thu District Trade Union (Thai Binh Province) organized a communication conference on reproductive health care for female union officials to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union.
Accordingly, 150 key union officials and heads of women's unions at grassroots levels were provided with knowledge on population, family planning, reproductive health care; safe motherhood skills; measures to prevent sexually transmitted diseases, reproductive tract infections and common gynecological diseases.
Through the conference, female union officials will understand the importance of health protection, thereby regularly having periodic health check-ups to reduce the risk of disease.
This is also an activity demonstrating the responsibility and concern of the trade union organization for the health of female cadres.
On the same day, at TBS Song Tra Backpack and Handbag Factory in Song Tra Industrial Park, Thai Binh City, Thai Binh Industry and Trade Union organized a conference to disseminate and educate the law to nearly 250 workers of the factory.
At the conference, Major Nguyen Ba Lam, an officer of the Department of Building the National Security Movement (PV05) - Thai Binh Provincial Police, informed delegates about the content of a number of outstanding cases on corruption prevention and crime prevention in the province in recent times; at the same time, he conveyed the content of security and order work, traffic safety, drug prevention and control work in the province, the sophisticated tricks and forms of drug crimes that have been taking place and infiltrating social life.
In addition, there are ways to recognize the fraud methods that are very popular on social networks, the fraud tricks that are transformed into multi-level, online, gift giving forms...; the evolution of cyber security crimes in the current period of technology development, thereby helping workers recognize the tricks of criminals and not become their victims.
Through the conference, we aim to raise awareness of law enforcement among workers, actively contributing to socio-economic development, maintaining political security and social order and safety.
