On December 30, the Hau Loc District Labor Federation, Thanh Hoa Province held a conference to review the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities in 2024; deploy key directions and tasks in 2025.
Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Minh Canh - Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, representatives of Hau Loc district leaders, departments, branches, unions and a large number of union members and workers in the district.
According to the Hau Loc District Labor Federation, in 2024, the district's workers, civil servants, and laborers' movement achieved many important achievements. Specifically, all levels of the union organized visits and presented gifts to more than 3,600 union members and workers, with a total amount of more than 2.8 billion VND; requested the union member support fund to support visits for 348 sick union members and those in difficult circumstances with an amount of 489 million VND; supported the construction and repair of houses for 6 union members with an amount of 250 million VND...
Action programs, such as the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers" and activities to care for workers' lives, have been widely implemented and brought about practical results.
Regarding the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions, during the year, we promoted and mobilized the establishment of 4 grassroots unions and 3 trade union organizations, recruiting more than 2,100 new union members.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Minh Canh - Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation highly appreciated the results that Hau Loc District Labor Federation has achieved in the past year. Along with that, he hopes that all levels of Hau Loc District Labor Union will continue to make efforts, strive to complete all tasks and plans set out and take better care of the lives of union members and workers, especially those in difficult cases.
On this occasion, representatives of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor and Hau Loc District awarded prizes to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the workers' movement and trade union activities.
