On January 22, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (HCMC Labor Federation) organized the "HCMC Labor Union" scholarship award program for 2025. The program aims to support union members in their efforts to study, improve their professional qualifications, skills, and contribute to the development of agencies, businesses, and union organizations.

At the program, Mr. Phung Thai Quang - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - emphasized the importance of training and improving professional qualifications for workers, civil servants, and laborers, especially in the context of the fourth industrial revolution. This aims to contribute to improving the quality of human resources, building a team of workers with cultural qualifications, solid skills, and adapting to the conditions of socio-economic development.

The program "HCMC Trade Union Scholarship" is implemented to support union members with good moral qualities, sense of discipline, good compliance with the Party's policies and the State's laws, with more than 3 years of work experience and many consecutive years of good performance, currently studying for a first degree at colleges and universities in the city.
During the 2022-2024 period, the program supported 125 union members with a total budget of more than VND 809 million. In 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation awarded scholarships to 28 cases with a total budget of VND 166,960,600, with support levels of 30%, 50% and 70% of the budget.
