Attending were Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh - Vice Chairman of Political Directorate of the Vietnam People's Army and Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
According to Colonel Nguyen Dinh Duc - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Head of the National Defense Trade Union, Head of the Organizing Committee, the 2024 Competition for Excellent Grassroots Trade Union Chairmen of the Army with the theme: "Courage, Intelligence - Enthusiasm, Loyalty" is a comprehensive picture of professional knowledge, skills and Trade Union work, demonstrating courage, intelligence, experience and talent through 4 competition parts.
It is worth noting that many grassroots Trade Union Chairmen participated in the competition for the first time with high requirements in content and format, but they performed excellently in the competition. All contestants convinced the audience with their sense of responsibility and more importantly, their passion and enthusiasm for the workers' movement and Trade Union activities at the grassroots level, making the competition a success beyond expectations.
Each contestant participating in the contest will be an active propagandist in building the model of a Military Trade Union officer with "Courage, Intelligence - Enthusiasm, and Love" for the workers and for the enterprise and unit.
The Organizing Committee awarded Certificates of Merit for the title of Excellent Grassroots Union President of the Army in 2024 to 38 candidates; presented Certificates of Merit from the Political Directorate to 16 candidates with excellent performances; presented Certificates of Merit from the Political Directorate to 10 candidates who won Excellent prizes, 12 candidates who won First prizes, 10 candidates who won Second prizes, 6 candidates who won Third prizes; presented Flags from the Political Directorate to 10 units who won Excellent prizes, 12 units who won First prizes, 10 units who won Second prizes, 6 units who won Third prizes.
