Implementing the program "Trade Union Tet Journey - Spring 2025" and implementing the direction of the Hanoi City Labor Federation, on February 2, the 5th day of the Lunar New Year, the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union organized 7 free cars to pick up 400 union members and workers from the Industrial and Export Processing Zones from Nghe An and Thanh Hoa to return to Hanoi to start the new working year.
At the reception points, leaders of the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union and local Trade Unions visited, encouraged and congratulated union members and workers on a joyful new year.
Union members and workers on the bus returning to the City all shared their gratitude to the Trade Union because the Trade Union not only cared for them regularly but also paid special attention to them when Tet came.
This is the second year that the family of Mr. Mai Van Quy, a worker at Matsuo Industries Vietnam Co., Ltd., has taken the Union bus.
Mr. Quy emotionally said: My family and I are very grateful to the Union. Because of this concern from the Union, I, as well as other workers, will try to contribute more to the Company and the Union organization.
"I hope the Trade Union will grow stronger to represent the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers," Mr. Quy shared.
On the occasion of Tet At Ty 2025, in the program "Trade Union Tet Journey - Spring 2025", Hanoi City Labor Federation organized to support the direction of sending workers in industrial parks back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet and welcoming workers back to work after Tet at the City level.
On January 25, the 26th of the 12th lunar month of Giap Thin, Hanoi Trade Union organized free cars for 1,200 union members and workers in industrial parks - export processing zones with especially difficult circumstances to return home to celebrate Tet with their families.
The organization of support for sending workers from industrial parks back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet and welcoming workers back to work after Tet using the financial resources of the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union to ensure safety has once again affirmed the role of the Trade Union.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thang - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union said that organizing buses for workers to return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet and especially organizing buses to pick up workers back to work will help businesses stabilize the workforce right after Tet.
