Hanoi – On December 24, the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union announced that it had admitted 1,052 new union members.

Recently, the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union issued a Decision to establish 11 grassroots trade unions, admitting 1,052 union members.

According to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thang - Chairman of the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union, with 11 grassroots trade unions established, the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union has completed the target of establishing 25 new grassroots trade unions and developing more than 19,000 union members in 2024.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thang requested that newly established grassroots unions urgently develop operating regulations for the Executive Committee; mobilize union members and workers to properly implement the Party's Directives and Resolutions, the State's legal policies, and the Resolutions of the Trade Union organization.

Especially the rules and regulations of the enterprise, living and working according to the constitution and the law; building industrial culture, building cultural enterprises.

Grassroots trade unions need to coordinate with employers to effectively implement the Law on Grassroots Democracy, promptly resolve problems arising in labor relations; develop, negotiate, sign and supervise the implementation of Collective Labor Agreements, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises...
