On October 30, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh - Chairwoman of the Phuc Tho District Labor Federation (Hanoi) said that identifying the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions as one of the key tasks of the trade union organization, from the beginning of 2024, the Phuc Tho District Labor Federation has focused on developing plans and synchronously implementing solutions to develop union members and establish grassroots unions, closely following the targets assigned by the Hanoi City Labor Federation.
In addition to organizing activities to care for the lives and protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers, the District Labor Federation has closely coordinated with the Tax and Social Insurance agencies of the district, Party committees and authorities of communes and towns to propagate and mobilize the establishment of grassroots trade unions in the area; actively guide and support workers and enterprises to complete documents and procedures to join and establish trade unions at the unit.
With the motto "Where there are workers, there is a trade union organization", up to now, the District Labor Federation has newly established 18/10 grassroots trade unions and recruited 755/1,000 new union members.This is the result of the tireless efforts of the District Labor Federation in developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions.Immediately after the grassroots trade unions were established, the District Labor Federation assigned cadres to pay attention to guiding and assisting the units in trade union work and creating the best conditions for the trade union to operate stably and perform well the functions and tasks of the trade union organization.
The Trade Unions have quickly developed internal rules, regulations, and action plans, assigned specific tasks to each member of the Provisional Executive Committee; developed and signed a Regulation on coordination of activities between the Trade Union Executive Committee and the Board of Directors of the company or unit according to the provisions of the Trade Union Charter, ensuring the rights and interests of workers.
From now until the end of 2024, the District Labor Federation will continue to promote the review and synchronous implementation of solutions to closely follow the targets assigned by the City Labor Federation. From there, it will contribute to the overall results of the Capital Labor Union in developing union members and establishing grassroots unions.
