Establishment of grassroots trade union on the occasion of 70 years of Liberation of the Capital

Hanoi - Thanh Tri District Labor Federation announced the Decision to establish and launch the Grassroots Trade Union on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital.

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024) and the liberation of Thanh Tri district, the District Labor Federation (LDLD) organized the announcement of the Decision to establish and launch the grassroots Trade Union organization of Lam Viet Production and Trading Company Limited.

Lam Viet Production and Trading Company Limited was established in 2023. After being informed and mobilized, 18 employees of the company voluntarily applied to join the Trade Union. The company also clearly understood the importance of the Trade Union, so it expressed its desire to establish a grassroots Trade Union.

In response to the legitimate aspirations of the working class, the Thanh Tri District Labor Federation issued a decision to admit 18 union members, recognize the grassroots union and recognize the grassroots union executive committee.

Since August, this is the 6th grassroots union newly established by the Thanh Tri District Labor Federation. This is also the 12th grassroots union established since the beginning of 2024, bringing the total number of grassroots unions under the District Labor Federation to 301.
