Over 300 billion VND to take care of Tet for Hanoi workers

Hanoi - On the occasion of Tet At Ty, the Capital's Trade Unions at all levels spent over 300 billion VND from the Trade Union budget and socialized sources to support union members and workers.

The above amount is spent to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the Lunar New Year.

Notably, 44/45 Labor Federations of districts, towns, and cities, Industry Trade Unions, and Corporation Trade Unions organized the Tet Sum Vay program at the grassroots level with more than 30,000 participants.

The City Labor Federation organized the program "Union Tet Market 2025" with the participation of 98 enterprises providing essential goods for Tet with the lowest discount of 10-50%. At the program, the City Labor Federation supported giving shopping vouchers to 5,000 union members and workers, at the rate of 500,000 VND/ticket and gifts at the rate of 300,000 VND/ticket with a total amount of 4 billion VND.

The City Labor Federation also gave away 6,200 cash vouchers, creating favorable conditions for union members and workers in remote districts to shop during the days leading up to Tet.

According to the report on labor relations, salaries, bonuses and care results for union members and workers before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2025 of the City Labor Federation.

Regarding the 2025 Tet bonus, the average Tet bonus for employees in all types of enterprises will increase, of which the 2025 Lunar New Year bonus is 1,000,000 VND, and the 2025 Lunar New Year bonus is 7,700,000 VND.

In Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zone alone, according to reports, there is no situation of unpaid wages for workers in the industrial zone; the average salary in 2024 of workers is about 8.2 million VND/person/month. The average Lunar New Year bonus in 2025 is about 8.1 million VND/person.
