These days, reporters visit the homes of members of the Textile and Garment Trade Union in Duc My commune, Cang Long district, and see people busy weaving and slicing to deliver products to large orders in time.

The union not only helps union members improve their skills and stabilize product consumption, but also improves their income and life, contributing to sustainable economic development for the locality.

Ms. Duong Thi Bua - a member of the Duc My Commune Textile and Garment Trade Union - said that her family life has improved a lot since joining the union.

According to Ms. Bua, before without support from the Union, finding outlets for products was the biggest difficulty, only knowing how to weave and sell to pre-existing customers, the quantity was very small.

The sale of chieuing products was unstable or even forced to pay, which significantly affected her family's income and stability.

"Since joining the Union, the above difficulties have improved. Support for product consumption and experience sharing have helped the number of screenings increase significantly," Ms. Bua added.

Ms. Tran Thi Tinh Em said that her weaving output has increased 2-3 times, from 100 to 200-300 shows/month, helping her family life become much more stable since joining the union.

"In addition to sharing experiences and consuming products, union members also support each other with cheap slices, helping to stabilize work, increase output and improve sustainable income," said Ms. Truong Thi Chin.

Maintaining and expanding the Union in the future

Talking to Lao Dong, Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan - President of the My Duc Commune Textile and Garment workers' union said that the union currently has 50 members.

Members of the Union share experiences and support each other in consuming products, which is a key factor in improving quality and creating stable income opportunities for everyone.

According to Ms. Xuan, one content that creates high solidarity and community spirit is that the slices are sold by union members to each other at a cheaper price in the market, thereby helping each other reduce production costs and increase profits when selling products.

When the product has no output, the Union will help contact purchasing facilities, resolve inventories and ensure that the product is not wasted, while helping union members maintain production activities.

"In the coming time, the Union will continue to mobilize Textile and Nerve movements to join the Union," Ms. Xuan added.

The union not only develops the profession of union members but also creates a united community, supporting each other in work. This model aims at long-term development, expanding union members and building a solid network, contributing to local economic development.
