In 2024, the Provincial Federation of Labor supported 17 families of workers in difficult circumstances and with serious illnesses to build houses, with an amount of 40 million VND/house, supporting 51 union members affected by storm No. 3, whose houses were completely collapsed, each union member with 50 million VND; on the occasion of the Lunar New Year, giving over 10,000 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total cost of over 6.7 billion VND...
In particular, in the context of storm No. 3 causing extremely serious damage in the area, the Yen Bai Provincial Federation of Labor visited 8 union members who died, 10 were injured, 13 union members' relatives died, 6,744 union members whose houses were damaged, property damage; supported 2 schools, 1 commune People's Committee headquarters that were severely damaged by storms and floods; the total support amount was over 10 billion VND.
Trade unions at all levels are also proactive, active, focusing on doing a good job of calling for, mobilizing, receiving and effectively distributing resources to support over 13 billion VND and 104 tons of goods of all kinds to union members, workers and relatives affected by storm No. 3 to soon stabilize their lives...
In addition, it has done a good job of mobilizing workers, civil servants, and laborers to actively respond to social and charity campaigns and social security programs launched by all levels and sectors such as: Support the " use of gratitude" Fund, the "For the Poor Day" Fund, the "For Children" Fund; the "Disease prevention" Fund... Every year, the Yen Bai Provincial Federation of Labor visits over 1,200 union members and workers in especially difficult circumstances and with serious illnesses with an amount of 1.3 billion VND.
