The YKK ASAO children's football training course in cooperation with the Real Madrid Foundation (RMF) lasted from November 8 to 10 at the Mansion Sports Club (HCMC) with the participation of about 300 children from orphanages and disadvantaged families.
On the first day, three coaches from RMF will teach more than 30 coaches in Ho Chi Minh City the world-class coaching methods and techniques of Real Madrid. The following two days, coaches from RMF and Vietnam will participate in the training process for the children, thereby bringing them a unique experience.
Mr. Andres Muntaner, Regional Manager of the Real Madrid Foundation, said that the Real Madrid Foundation is the soul of Real Madrid Football Club in social and community charity activities and is present in 80 countries around the world.
The program's goal is to provide disadvantaged children with a once-in-a-lifetime experience, the opportunity to experience the modern, professional training methods of Real Madrid, the famous football club and current champion of the European Cup 1.
Through the program, the Organizing Committee hopes that children can improve their soccer skills, maintain their love for sports as well as practice soft skills, team spirit, perseverance, and will to succeed... Thereby, it will help children in difficult circumstances develop more comprehensively, increase their confidence and communication skills in daily life.
It is known that this is a training program that started in 2007, has been implemented in many countries such as Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam... and brought experiences to about 7,500 children in difficult circumstances. This is the 4th time the program is present in Vietnam and the 3rd time held in Ho Chi Minh City, besides once in Hanoi in 2019.
