The YKK ASAO children's football training course in collaboration with Real Madrid Fund (RMF) lasts from November 8 to 10 at Mansion Sports Club (HCMC) with the participation of about 300 children from orphanages and disadvantaged families.
On the first day, three coaches from RMF will teach more than 30 coaches in Ho Chi Minh City the world-class training methods and techniques of Real Madrid. Two days later, coaches from RMF and Vietnam will participate in the training process for the children, thereby bringing them a unique experience.
Mr. Andres Muntaner, Regional Manager of Real Madrid Foundation, said that Real Madrid Foundation is the soul of Real Madrid Football Club in social and community charity activities and has been present in 80 countries around the world.
The goal of the program is to give children in difficult circumstances a "one-of-a-kind" experience in life, which is the opportunity to experience the modern and professional training methods of Real Madrid, a famous football club, the reigning champion of the European Cup C1.
Through the program, the Organizing Committee hopes that children can improve their football skills, maintain their love for sports as well as practice soft skills, team spirit, perseverance, and the will to rise up... Thereby, it will help children in difficult circumstances develop more comprehensively, increase confidence and communication skills in daily life.
It is known that this is a training program that started in 2007, has been implemented in many countries such as Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam... and brought experiences to about 7,500 children in difficult circumstances. This is the 4th time the program has been present in Vietnam and the 3rd time it has been held in Ho Chi Minh City, besides once in Hanoi in 2019.
