At the announcement ceremony of Vietnamese contestants in Manhunt International 2025 held on the afternoon of May 15, in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Chu Tan Van - representative of the unit sending contestants to compete - said that the criteria for selecting contestants to compete are those with a beautiful face, a model figure, a confident demeanor, courage and a positive influence on the community.
The exam does not require candidates to be good at English. Using the mother tongue in communication is also a way to express national pride. Manhunt International is an international playground that promotes cultural identity and human values. Therefore, foreign languages are only a small factor in the overall assessment, he said.
Before coming to Manhunt International 2025, Vu Linh represented Vietnam in international competitions twice. Notable among them is the runner-up title at Mister Grand International 2022. He is also a professional model who has performed at many major domestic and international fashion weeks.
Vu Linh said that being selected by the copyright keeping unit to compete in Manhunt International was both an opportunity and a challenge for him. He still has nearly a month to practice, prepare procedures, skills, and costumes for the competition. At the event, the male model also showed his singing talent in Thai. He said that he spent nearly half a year learning Thai to impress the host Thailand and international friends.
To prepare for the competition, Vu Linh plans to practice rigorously to tone her body as well as improve her ability to respond and present. He worked with designers to prepare costumes for 10 days of participating in the competition's activities.
Manhunt International 2025 contest takes place from June 2 right to 15, with a series of exchange activities, filming, performing and many diverse cultural activities. The final and coronation night took place on June 10, in Thailand.
