On October 31, a "Support to School" scholarship award ceremony was held in Dak Lak province for 143 new poor students who overcame difficulties and fostered their aspirations to conquer knowledge.
At the ceremony, many stories about the determination and will to rise of the new students moved the audience.
For example, the case of Le Xuan Tien (from Gia Lai), a new student at Quy Nhon University. The day he received the school entrance exam was also the anniversary of his mother's death, Tien once wondered if he should continue studying.
Without a father, without brothers, since Tien was a child, he lived with his mother and grandmother in an old, dilapidated house. When her grandmother passed away and her mother died of liver cancer in 2022, she suddenly became a mother in the middle of her life.
sympathizing with the children, Tien's aunt - Mrs. Le Thi Lo - moved back to live together, weaving hats and growing vegetables during the day, and encouraging the children to continue studying at night. The two of them depended on each other in a dilapidated house, the silver meal only had vegetables and dried fish, but for Tien, it was still the warmest place.

Receiving the "Support to School" scholarship, Tien emotionally expressed his gratitude because in the midst of countless difficulties, there were still hearts that did not let him fall. I promise to try to study well so that tomorrow I can help people in the same situation as me.
The story of H'Mi Nie, a student majoring in Social Work at Da Lat University, also made many people excited. Orphaned by both parents, H'Mi currently lives at the Dak Lak Social Protection Center.
I said that my parents died of a serious illness, at that time I didn't know who I was attracted to. Luckily, being welcomed, cared for and encouraged by the teachers at the Social Protection Center for the past 5 years, H'Mi was able to continue studying and living more actively.
Because she had received a lot of love, H'Me chose to study Social Work to later help people in the same situation. For me, this scholarship is a great spiritual gift, helping me deeply feel the love and sharing of the community.
Stories like Tien and H'mi are vivid evidence of the determination and aspiration to rise up of new students overcoming difficulties - those who are continuing to write the dream of conquering letters in the midst of countless challenges.

The "Support to School" scholarship awarding ceremony was organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper in coordination with Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union and Tay Nguyen University, with the theme "One Aspiration - One Heart", for 143 new students in difficult circumstances, with great determination in 4 provinces: Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Gia Lai and Quang Ngai.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thien Van - Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee - emphasized that the "Support to Schools" scholarship not only has material significance but is also a great source of spiritual encouragement, adding opportunities for new students to enter university and college classes.
He hopes that they will continue to practice their will to overcome difficulties, nurture their aspiration to conquer knowledge, strive to study and research so that in the future they can become useful citizens, contributing to building their homeland and country to become more and more beautiful and prosperous.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thien Van, the "Support to School" scholarship program is a journey to spread the spirit of humanity and determination to rise up in the community.
