The theme “AI-X PIONEERS” is the orientation to train students at CMC University to become the pioneering generation to receive advances in artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
Artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming a strategic technology leading the scientific and technological revolution, creating far-reaching impacts with strong global reach.
In that context, CMC University is strongly committed to applying technology and artificial intelligence in management, operations, teaching, learning, research, student experience, building a modern, innovative learning environment, improving AI application capacity for students, staff, lecturers and researchers.
Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CMC Technology Group, Chairman of the Council of CMC University affirmed: “I believe that more than 2,000 students studying at CMC not only come to become good experts, but also to become pioneers - AI-X Pioneers, who will lead Vietnam in the digital era, the AI era.
Your mission is not only to acquire knowledge but also to create, innovate and apply AI technology into practice, bringing values not only to you personally but also to the development of the country."
In 2024, CMC University will continue to expand its scale, opening 2 new majors: Electronics - Telecommunications Engineering Technology and Marketing, bringing the total number of training majors to 8 and 2,000 students studying at the school.
In particular, the school has established the Faculty of Microelectronics and Telecommunications with Microchip Design as the main training orientation, to contribute to the implementation of the Government's Project on Human Resource Development for the Semiconductor Industry, to provide high-quality semiconductor human resources for Vietnam and the world.
Also at the opening ceremony, the school awarded scholarships to representatives of the 10 most outstanding students who received the "CMC - Because you deserve it" scholarship worth 96 billion VND.
