Creating stable jobs for rural workers
Van Hung Agricultural Cooperative (Cang Long District) has taken advantage of coconuts as an agricultural product available in the locality for business, creating jobs for many people.
Having been attached to Van Hung Agricultural Cooperative for more than 7 years, Mr. Cao Hoang Dung in Cang Long district said that after many years of working in Ho Chi Minh City, he decided to return to Cang Long in 2018 to live with his wife and children and seek economic development opportunities right in his hometown.
According to Mr. Dung, the monthly income of nearly 10 million VND from coconut processing is a quite impressive figure for many rural workers.In addition, on holidays and Tet, he also received gifts from the cooperative.
"Not only does it provide a stable job but it also brings a steady source of income, helping the family live comfortably and not worry about deprivation like before," Mr. Hoang Dung added.

Sharing the joy of having a job with a stable income, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phu also in Cang Long district, said that working here is much more comfortable and autonomous, with an average daily income of about 300,000-400,000 VND.
According to Mr. Phu, thanks to stable income and flexible working environment, many workers not only improve their lives but also have the opportunity to develop themselves and their families.
"HTX has become an ideal choice for those who want to have a sustainable job and stay with their hometown for a long time," Mr. Phu added.
Linking the consumption of over 400,000 coconuts/month Talking to Lao Dong newspaper, Mr. Ngo Huu Su - Director of Van Hung Agricultural Cooperative - said that currently, the cooperative is producing coconuts from more than 300 coconut growing households in Tra Vinh province and has more than 30 workers directly doing coconut collection, coconut peeling...
According to Mr. Su, creating many job opportunities for local people, especially rural workers and workers far from home, not only helps reduce unemployment but also encourages people to return to their homeland.

With the ability to consume about 400,000 coconuts per month, the cooperative will try to cooperate with many companies and enterprises consuming coconuts to increase the purchase quantity, proving strong and effective development in local agricultural product consumption.
"Van Hung Agricultural Cooperative is aiming for sustainable development, not only increasing the value of coconut products but also expanding the consumption market, contributing to creating job opportunities and improving income for local workers," Mr. Su added.
