Miss Intercontinental is an international beauty pageant that was first held in 1971.
Runner-up Bui Khanh Linh was officially announced as Vietnam's representative to compete at Miss Intercontinental 2024.
At the sash awarding event, runner-up Bui Khanh Linh appeared in an outfit called "Thien hac" by author Le Thi Kim Dung.
“Thien Hac” is inspired by the image of Lac bird in Dong Son culture as a highlight. This is also the National Costume that Khanh Linh will bring to the competition this year.
The work won third prize at the National Costume contest within the framework of the Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 contest, belonging to the Mentor team of designer Dang Trong Minh Chau.
Notably, the appearance of Miss Intercontinental 2022 - Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc and 2nd Runner-up Miss Intercontinental 2023 - Le Nguyen Ngoc Hang in the program. The two beauty queens shared their experiences, cheered and motivated the Vietnamese representative at Miss Intercontinental this year.
Before that, runner-up Bui Khanh Linh also had time to practice, learn and improve many skills with the professional team.
Miss Intercontinental 2024 is the 52nd Miss Intercontinental pageant, taking place from November 20. The Miss Intercontinental final is scheduled to take place on December 6 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
