Daisy Edgar-Jones was born into a family with an artistic tradition, active in Hollywood .
She began acting in plays at school, practicing acting since she was a child. Growing up, Daisy attended the Open University in parallel with the National Youth Theater in London, England.
When she was 17 years old, the actress had her first great opportunity when she appeared in the film project "Cold Feet" (which was nominated for 7 British Academy Awards) as a central cast member.
But it wasn't until she starred in the TV series "Normal People" that Daisy Edgar-Jones became famous. This 2021 project brought in 2 "Golden Globe" nominations, including the "Best Actress" category for Daisy Edgar-Jones.

In 2024, Daisy Edgar-Jones returns with the project "Twisters" with a budget of 200 million USD, the highest in this year's movie lineup (up to now).
The film can be considered a successor to the 1996 hit with the same theme about storm chasers with a burning passion for hurricanes.
In the film, Daisy plays Kate, a young girl who is testing a new tornado detection system. Meanwhile, she bumps into Tyler, a social media superstar who is hunting for tornadoes to film clips to get views.
The two accidentally entered the journey of life and death when a tornado struck, sweeping everything away.
The movie "Twisters" is currently premiering in theaters nationwide.
