CEO Pham Duy Khanh, Head of the Organizing Committee, said that after two successful seasons with faces like Miss Ly Kim Thao and Miss Vo Cao Ky Duyen, he and the team realized the need to expand the playground, creating fair opportunities for male contestants - the group that currently has few options in the domestic arena.
Accordingly, the Top 5 women and Top 5 of Miss & King of Vietnam Tourism 2026 will be selected to go to competitions such as Miss Earth, Miss Supranational, The Miss Globe, Miss Tourism International, Miss Tourism World... Top 5 men (expected) have the opportunity to compete in Mister Supranational, Mister Universe, Mister International, Mister Global.
The representative of the organizing committee emphasized that this year's selection criteria will be more strict, prioritizing international standard figure, foreign language skills and personal story communication skills. The case of Miss Earth Water 2025 Trinh My Anh - 3rd runner-up of Miss Earth Vietnam 2025, who was accompanied by the organizing committee on her international journey - is considered an example of a long-term preparation strategy, investing systematically for contestants.
The prize structure includes: Miss and King receiving 500 million VND; 1st Runner-up and 1st Runner-up receiving 300 million VND; 2nd Runner-up, 3rd Runner-up, 4th Runner-up receiving 100 million VND. In addition to bonuses, the winning contestants will also receive training, skills training, personal image development and participate in domestic and foreign tourism promotion activities.
The application contest will be held from December 2025 to March 2026, with the preliminary round expected to be held in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi in March 2026. The semi-finals and finals will take place in Can Tho on May 23, 2026, with the goal of linking the image of the contest with the cultural - tourism space of the Mekong Delta.
