Miss Cosmo is an international beauty pageant held in Vietnam for the first time in 2024.
Faced with the difficult situation in the northern provinces after storm Yagi, the Miss Cosmo Organizing Committee flexibly changed the schedule to join hands with the government and people to overcome the consequences of the storm.
The “Cosmo tea with Ambassadors” tea party welcoming contestants on September 14, the press conference announcing the crown on September 15, and the “Hello Cosmo From Vietnam” Fashion Show on September 17, have been postponed to a more suitable time.
Miss Cosmo 2024 announced to spend 100 million VND from the cost of organizing the tea party "Cosmo Tea with Ambassadors" to help people in flood-affected areas.
In addition, the Miss Cosmo Organizing Committee and the main sponsor of the contest have jointly donated 500 million VND for recovery work, helping areas affected by floods.
The total fund that the Miss Cosmo Organizing Committee has set aside for this relief effort is 600 million VND. In addition to cash, the Miss Cosmo Organizing Committee and sponsors and benefactors have also prepared gifts of necessities worth nearly 100 million VND to give to people in flooded areas.
Currently, the contestants of the Miss Cosmo 2024 contest have officially been awarded their sashes and are participating in activities in Hanoi and Ninh Binh. The Miss Cosmo 2024 beauty contest is entering the final stage to find the best representative.
The semi-finals of Miss Cosmo 2024 will be held on October 2 and the final on October 5 at Phu Tho Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City.
