When participating in the movie "Two Salts", People's Artist Hong Van admitted for the first time that she felt "awkward" when performing an emotional scene with co-star Quyen Linh.
People's Artist Hong Van shared: "This is the first time Quyen Linh and I are paired together in cinema. In real life, my family and Quyen Linh's family are very close. Because it's so close, when acting emotionally, there's a bit of shyness, a feeling of emotional enlightenment."
Artist Quyen Linh also agreed that because they were so close to each other, when they played the role of "screen lovers" they both felt "wrong".
The male artist also admitted: "Quyen Linh has been a fan of Hong Van since ancient times. When I had the opportunity to act together in the movie "Hai Salt", especially the role of an unrequited lover, I felt a bit embarrassed."

However, People's Artist Hong Van quickly regained her spirit and professionalism to complete her role as well as help co-star Quyen Linh play her role extremely well.
Taking on the second main role in the movie "Two Salts", People's Artist Hong Van transformed into Tu Lat - a middle-aged woman with a kind, kind personality, mixed with a bit of humor.

Tu Lat worked as a dried fish seller in the coastal area of Can Gio, never knowing what the taste of family and the taste of love was. The character Tu Lat secretly loves Mr. Hai (played by artist Quyen Linh), always staying by his side throughout the happy and sad moments of life on the island of Thieng Lieng.
Talking about the role of Tu Lat, People's Artist Hong Van also shared: "According to Van, Mrs. Tu Lat is a very important leverage character, contributing to creating a catalyst to highlight the relationship between father and son of Mr. Hai Muoi.
This character of Mrs. Tu Lat is also compatible with the people on Thieng Lieng island hamlet, they are just as cute and honest."
The movie "Two Salts" officially premieres on August 30, 2024.
