The first look of the movie "Linh lich - Quy nhap trang" more clearly depicts the traditional characteristics of Hue culture with the costumes of artist Hong Dao .
Director Liu Chenglun's horror film arouses viewers' curiosity with the scene of a group of arrogant paper figures.

Director Luu Thanh Luan revealed: “The film explores supernatural phenomena revolving around a feudal family living in Hue. Not only exploiting Hue’s cultural values, introducing the audience to more about the art of ceramic mosaic, the story that Luan wants to tell the audience this time is also about the divisions related to class, the male-dominated viewpoint.
In particular, the image of a procession made of paper figures that the film uses not only symbolizes a form of disaster or an ominous sign, but also represents karma.

The image of the palanquin procession is based on the Hue court ritual called the palanquin procession of the crown prince or the King in the past with people holding lanterns, umbrellas, and musicians. The characteristic of this ritual is the addition of women dancing and tapping cups.
Like the movie “Quy cau”, the work “Linh lich - Quy nhap trang” borrows inspiration from the folk legend of “Quy nhap trang” as the backbone to tell the story of a family originating from the ceramic mosaic craft in Hue.
The film stars artists Hong Dao, Samuel An, Van Anh, Thien An and especially Miss Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien in her first role.
The movie "Lynx - The Devil's Incarnation" is scheduled to premiere on November 22, 2024 in theaters nationwide.
