To help Bao (Thanh Thuc) recover, Quyen (Le Ha Anh) tries to evoke childhood memories by spending time talking and taking Bao out in her free time.
Quyen's concern for Bao comes entirely from innocent friendship, while for Bao, being with Quyen is a happiness.
Even though he still can't remember everything, the childish promise from the past and the feelings he has cherished for many years make Bao always follow Quyen with the desire to marry her.
Determined to pursue Quyen, Bao becomes Phu's love rival. The uncompromising competition between the two boys creates many tragicomic situations, "hard to handle" but also very interesting.
Although a bit naive, Bao still retains the wit and intelligence of a child. Bao's cleverness caused Mr. Tu Sang (Linh Trung) to receive a humiliating ending when he intentionally became close to Bao to please Mrs. Hue (Meritorious Artist Tuyet Thu).
Living in the love and protection of his mother and the love of his village and neighbors, Bao has found his honesty again. In the eyes of Ben Say villagers, the image of the once-ugly and hateful “Bao” has now been replaced by the gentle and kind “Say”.
The movie "The Reeds Bloom Season" airs at 8:00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday every week on THVL1 channel.
