Vu tried to convince Bao to return to Trang Thien to take back what belonged to him, but Bao did not want to leave Ben Say at this time. The days living in Ben Say were the happiest times Bao had ever had and he gradually loved this place, not wanting to return to his previous life of calculation and hatred.
Revealing himself as the "final boss" behind the series of sinister plots, when discovering that Bao had regained his memory, Vu immediately sought out Mr. Ba Binh (Quach Ho Ninh), wanting him to help him kill Bao. Vu convinced Mr. Ba Binh to create an accidental accident, so no one would suspect him, but he was still hesitant and afraid because after all, this was a human life. Mr. Ba Binh had not yet recovered from his shock when his crime was exposed when Vu gave a more convincing reason, that he killed Bao to avenge his parents' death.
Years ago, when Vu's parents were hit by a car, Mr. Thien's car (Mai Son Lam) happened to be passing by. Vu cried out for help but Mr. Thien turned a blind eye and did not help, so when Vu's parents were taken to the hospital, it was too late. Vu thought that a heartless person like Mr. Thien was as guilty as the driver who hit and killed his parents, so he held a grudge from then on.
While Mr. Thien lived in luxury and happiness, Vu became an orphan, abandoned by his uncle, exploited and abused by his adoptive parents, suffered all kinds of hardships and humiliation, had to always try to find ways to survive. It was the circumstances that pushed and created the seeds for resentment to grow, turning the good-natured boy Vu into an ambitious and cruel person.
