While Mrs. Tu (Le Phuong) is afraid that Bao and Truc are “close to straw”, Mr. Manh (Cao Minh Dat) wants to matchmake the two. When An hears, her heart is on fire, she can’t sit still, and she quickly puts pressure on Bao. Bao is determined to end his sinful relationship with his sister-in-law, threatening that if An pressures him too much, he will confess, and the one who will suffer will be a daughter-in-law like An.
Thinking that because of Truc, Bao was heartless towards her, An angrily went to find Truc to vent her anger, insulting and intimidating Truc. Gently but firmly, Truc advised An to stop before making mistakes. An continuously avoided and denied, forcing Truc to say directly that she had seen An and Bao many times, and knew about the ambiguous relationship between the two. Thinh (Bach Cong Khanh) secretly followed An from the time she met Bao until the time she argued with Truc, so he also knew about the suspicious things.
Mrs. Tu was worried about the matter between Bao and An, not knowing the truth, but now Bao was close to Truc, and her husband wanted to matchmake Bao and Truc. Determined not to let Truc become her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Tu secretly thought of a way to kick Truc out of the house. Mrs. Tu secretly meets Mr. Tinh in the backyard, asking him to help her find a way to kick Truc and her sisters out of the house. Mr. Tu (Quach Ho Ninh) accidentally sees the two talking and hears Mrs. Tu admit with her own mouth that she hired someone to cause an accident to kill Thinh two years ago. Thinh plans to publicly announce his recovery after exposing Mr. Tinh, but because of this discovery, he decides to continue playing the role of a disabled person until he has enough evidence to accuse his stepmother.
Following Mr. Tinh's plan, Mrs. Tu deliberately insulted Truc and An to cause friction so that Truc would leave the house. As for An, to chase Truc away, she did not hesitate to use dirty tricks, deliberately humiliating Truc by drugging Truc and Thinh and letting Truc sleep in the same bed with Thinh.
