Appearing in the first trailer of the Tet movie "Billion Dollar Kiss", Tien Luat surprised the audience with his humorous "hairy" appearance. This is also a special point that director - producer Thu Trang assessed as completely different from her husband's previous roles.
As for Tien Luat, his most difficult challenge in this project is not the character's psychology but arranging the schedule with the film crew. Because his participation in the program "Call Me by Fire" is expected to end soon, the actor is confident that he can accompany the film throughout.
However, due to receiving great love from the audience and going deep into the program, the schedules of "Call Me by Fire" and the film crew overlapped. This is considered the peak time and extremely "headache" for the talented Tien Luat.
Talking about this, Thu Trang humorously said: "I spent a lot of money to invite Mr. Luat to act in "Billionaire Kiss". It is known that Tien Luat had to travel frequently between Ho Chi Minh City and Da Lat to complete two schedules and only had time to sleep mostly on the bus.
The crew had to change the original plan and arrange the scenes to achieve the best effect. Upon arriving in Da Lat, Tien Luat would film the scene that night until 4-5am and then continue to get on the bus back to Ho Chi Minh City to film the program.
Although he is not present regularly, Tien Luat always gives Thu Trang mental strength so that they can both "overcome difficulties". In important stages such as pre-production or project preparation, he always accompanies his wife to give her more strength.
Talking more about Thu Trang's decision to "play big" by taking on 3 roles - director, actress, producer in "Billion Dollar Kiss", Tien Luat expressed his pride: "I know that if I worry about one thing, Trang will worry about ten. In the beginning of preparing for the project, Trang had many sleepless nights and I was always by her side to edit and perfect the script as completely as possible."
Besides, Tien Luat believes that with what Thu Trang has put in to "go all in" to create the film, the audience will not be disappointed. "Both Trang and Luat in the film will have cute and funny interactions that will make the audience believe in the feelings of the two characters" - Thu Trang added.
"The Billionaire Kiss" is expected to be released on the first day of Tet 2025 (January 29).
