Recently, Dien Bien Provincial Police issued a plan to organize an examination and issue a road motor vehicle driving license (GPLX) in 2025.
Accordingly, it is expected that in the last 6 months of 2025, Dien Bien Provincial Police will organize 10 driving tests for all classes; 20 driving tests for motorbikes of classes A1 and A.
Specifically, the theoretical test is questions related to legal regulations on road traffic order and safety; driving techniques; content related to common construction and repair (for class B and above)... Candidates taking the class A1 and A driving test with a valid car driving license are exempted from theoretical testing.
Regarding the form of theoretical test. For motorbikes, there are computers and automatic scoring devices to test the driver in the picture.Test on paper and test in shape using the direct scoring method.
For cars, equip a computer for testing and automatic scoring equipment to test the driver in the photo.
Regarding the practical test for driving in the photo. Grades A1 and A will score directly combined with automatic scoring devices, except for the case of organizing theoretical tests using multiple-choice methods on paper and tests in form using the direct scoring method. Test Takers must drive motorbikes through 4 tests.
For classes B, C1 and C, automatic scoring devices are used; there are no test takers on the test vehicle. Test Takers must drive through tests arranged at the driving test center.
Regarding practical testing for drivers on the road (class B, C1, C) using automatic brake pads, there was a test member sitting on the testing vehicle. The test taker drove the car to check, handle situations on the road and follow the test taker's order.
Testing car drivers using traffic simulation software (class B, C1, C) test Takers detect times of risk to traffic safety through observing simulation situations appearing on the computer and taking actions to handle situations.
