The tournament was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong province in coordination with the Provincial Football Federation and related units, attracting the participation of 12 teams representing districts, cities and forces such as the Military Command and Provincial Police.
The tournament took place from October 26 to November 30, with teams competing in a round-robin format, divided into 3 groups, with matches taking place at many football fields in the province. After more than a month of exciting, dramatic and highly professional competition, the Thu Dau Mot city team won the championship after a 2-1 victory over the Dau Tieng district team in the final match.
In addition to the first prize and championship trophy, the organizing committee also awarded prizes to outstanding individuals. Player Nguyen Minh Hung (Bau Bang district) received the title of top scorer, goalkeeper Huynh Van Gan (Thu Dau Mot city) won the award for best goalkeeper, while player Nguyen Huu Hoai Phong (Dau Tieng district) was honored as the best player of the tournament.
The Binh Duong Provincial Football Championship is not only an attractive sports playground but also contributes to promoting the health training movement, developing grassroots football and creating opportunities for exchange and learning between football teams in the province. With the success of this year's season, the tournament promises to become an annual sporting event, attracting more and more teams and fans.
