Mudryk finally shines at Chelsea

After Mykhaylo Mudryk shone brightly in Chelsea's win over Panathinaikos, he immediately received praise from coach Enzo Maresca.

In the third round of the Conference League qualifying round, Chelsea visited Panathinaikos. There were no surprises, as Enzo Maresca and his team easily won with a score of 4-1.

When Chelsea faced opponents of a different level, winger Mykhaylo Mudryk was given a chance. This time, the 100 million euro blockbuster shone and did not disappoint like in previous matches.

According to statistics, Mudryk scored 1 goal and 2 assists against Panathinaikos. Besides, he also contributed greatly to the gameplay, when he passed the ball 100% accurately, had 5 successful dribbles and won 3 duels.

After the match, coach Enzo Maresca praised his players, but stressed that Mudrik's brilliance was slow to come. The Chelsea coach was quoted by Express UK: "I'm very happy, not for me but for him. The Chelsea staff spent a lot of time helping the players; not just Misha (Mudryk), but the whole squad.

We want the best for Misha. From the first day, we tried to help him as much as possible. He is a slower learner than his teammates, but he is improving. I am sure Mudrik will score more goals and become more important for us.”

Despite Mudrik having his best game since arriving at Chelsea, his future remains uncertain. Currently, Chelsea's attack is very crowded with many names such as Cole Palmer, Felix, Sancho, Nkunku, Madueke... so the possibility of Mudrik playing in the Premier League is not high.
