Saigon Co.op has signed a memorandum of understanding with Dure Cosumer’s Cooperative Union (Korea) on cooperation in importing and exporting goods from Vietnam to Korea; exchanging experiences in retail operations and activities to promote the cooperative movement in the two countries.
Saigon Co.op has signed a memorandum of understanding with 17 suppliers from 6 provinces and cities: Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Lam Dong, Dong Thap, Tien Giang, marking the completion of phase 1 of the program "Saigon Co.op product material area planning". These are business partners producing and cultivating Vietnamese agricultural products such as green-skinned grapefruit, mango, banana, melon, dragon fruit, white cabbage, lettuce, cucumber, etc.
The process of planning Saigon Co.op's product material areas is expected to last until the end of 2025.
In addition, Saigon Co.op supports capital for production and product consumption for 5 suppliers, which are cooperatives and local raw material suppliers specializing in safe vegetable products such as cucumbers, beef tomatoes, white cabbage, etc.
