This is an activity in response to the movement "All people join hands to protect the environment, for a green - clean - beautiful Vietnam", launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City. In 93 communes and wards in Da Nang, a launching ceremony was simultaneously held for the movement "All people join hands to protect the environment, for a green - clean - beautiful Da Nang city" for the period 2026-2030.
Activities take place simultaneously in localities to raise awareness and responsibility of people in environmental protection, build a civilized lifestyle and contribute to creating a green, clean, and beautiful urban appearance.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, localities deployed many practical activities such as general environmental sanitation in residential areas, roads, alleys, public areas, markets, beaches, rivers, lakes, canals, ditches. Forces participated in collecting and treating waste, eliminating spontaneous waste collection points, and at the same time organizing planting and caring for green trees, building green - clean - beautiful roads.
In addition, propaganda work is also promoted with many contents aimed at changing people's living habits. Localities mobilize people to implement waste sorting at source, limit the use of disposable plastic products and raise awareness of environmental sanitation in the community.
According to the implementation plan, from June-2026, all residential areas in the city will simultaneously organize the "Green - Clean - Beautiful Weekend in Residential Areas" model on Saturdays or Sundays every week. This is considered a regular activity to mobilize the participation of all classes of people in environmental protection work.
In the period up to 2030, agencies, units and localities will base on actual conditions to implement the movement according to an appropriate roadmap. The city sets a goal to promote the self-management role of the residential community, build a green, clean, and beautiful living environment, contributing to improving the quality of life and towards sustainable urban development.
